Jennifer Reed On The Road

I used to be so excited once i discovered I won tickets to the Gang of Skulls concert in NYC through Rock The Vote’s (RTV) On the highway page. I’m always checking RTV’s On the Road site since it hosts a lot of ticket giveaways and volunteer opportunities for that coolest concerts. Obviously, I’m all over it. Who doesn’t need a free use of a killer concert? Once i saw RTV was giving away tickets to Range of Skulls, I immediately entered the giveaway. And lucky personally, I WON! I definitely was freaking out once i heard that one… I’m the lady whose name is never picked in the hat, so I must be exercising good quality karma.

Range of Skulls is one of my favorite bands, and my respect for the kids sky-rocketed when I learned they donated tickets for Rock the Vote’s Onthe Road page. I realized about Gang of Skulls after Spotify suggested I listen to them. Initially I heard their track “Light of the Morning,” I had been hooked. My fandom only increased after I won tickets and saw them reside in NYC. This rock band comes with an amazing cohesiveness when playing. Their music is tight, concise and to the idea. They have a special energy keeps them all together, in time, inside the moment, and they're musically on point constantly. Their big musical drops, and alterations in rhythm are what get me most. As well as, each of their tracks has catchy lines that basically resonate. You understand an audio lesson is nice when you can relate to it and sing along easily. It is a band I dig. They're perfect with their harmonies and they've a great combination of hard rock, soft head banger, simplistic melodies, unexpected pickups, with amazing bass lines along with a dynamic drummer.

Easily thought winning tickets to Gang of Skulls’ NYC show was cool then imagine my excitement after i surely could satisfy the band following your show. I somehow held myself together when i chatted with lead singer Russell about his dependence on Gretch Falcon guitars in addition to their formation as a band in Southhampton, England. Not forgetting, their bass player is really a badass chick who runs the ship. If you happen to are able to find out them live, it’s totally worthwhile and I almost certainly will be there to share within the love.
